10 October- I departed Anacortes. This is not scientific, but it certainly appears that in Anacortes and just southeast of Anacortes, and on N. Whidbey Island, and the Deception Pass area, that something has depleted the NG population. Has a falconer taken from the nests, have NG been shot, have NG been killed by autos.
Now it is off to Tucson, from 18 October until 1 April. This blog has combined my sightings of NG in Texas with my sightings in Anacortes, WA, ( just for the 2010 season). I will continue to add strategies and tactics to this site.
